Neighbourhood Plan

Parish Plans have now been superseded by Neighbourhood Plans that aim to shape the development and growth of towns and villages in line with the needs and wishes of the community.

The Parish Council would like to start the process of creating a Neighbourhood Plan for Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor, and is looking for local residents to volunteer their time and energy. If you are interested, please contact the Parish Clerk at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

For more information on Neighbourhood Plans, see page 23 of the September 2015 issue of KBS News.

Village Hall

Village hall - exterior

The 'new' Village Hall is a facility of which the village can be justly proud. Opened in 1987, after a protracted period of active fund-raising and intense negotiations, it has received wide acclaim for its design and facilities.

It is a charity run by an elected Management Committee, and is available for group, society, club and personal bookings throughout the year.

For booking details and availability please ring phone Eric on 07771 539901 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

What's on for KidsChildrens' activities in the village

The village has lots of activities for children, and to make it easier for parents and children to know what's available for children at a glance, we've amalgamated all the village activities. Email us here if you have something you'd like to add.

Family days out in the area

Lots of ideas for family days out in the surrounding area can be found for kids and for adults. Look at both as some fall into both categories.

KBS 14+ Drop-in

A drop-in centre for children aged 14+ runs during school term at the Village Hall.
